I still don't have all the pictures posted. From Frankfurt we went to Rothenberg and visited the Midevil Torture Museum and stayed overnight in a B&B that the tour book described at "Monty Python like". It was pretty cool.

The next day we drove down Romantic Road, then over to Dachau. After that we got into the foothills of the Alps and spent the night. There was a beautiful view of the mountains from our room the next morning.

We then drove to Innsbruck, but didn't stop...just kept going across Austria and ended up staying the night in Lichtenstein, which I thought was pretty cool...but way expensive.

The next day we drove through a corner of Switzerland and then back into Germany and through the Black Forest and up to Baden-Baden. We stayed at a little place near the baths and went to one for some relaxation.

After that, it was up to Trier, where we spent the night. The Roman ruins there are amazing. Then, it was back to Frankfurt for the flight home.

Before going, Germany was never very high on my tourist list, but now that I've seen how beautiful it is, it's up near the top. I would love to go back again.
