Are you by chance displaying an image on _screen? If so try adding a ? "" command after the image is created.

Today I was running it for the first time and noticed that each time a messagebox (or a form) pops up, that when it closes the underlying form has a white spot for a second or two where the dialog box (or other form) used to be.
