Are you sure? Did you make any tests to see if this is true? And If this is true how faster you receive the data agains SHARED files? I use ONLY shared files and didn't have any speed troubles on any computer and OS (our users have such antic computers that you can't imagine) Also does the speed difference is so big that it worth to refuse such goodies like private data sessions?
You can't have Private Data Sessions if you didn't open tables SHARED.
