That sounds as if you might have the path hard-coded, somewhere. For example, instead of:
open database c:\TestEnvironment\data\MyDBC
you should:
open database data\MyDBC
Another thing to check for is that when you test the executable, you should first exit Visual FoxPro, or CLOSE ALL.
