Thanks for the classical definition. I am not sure if this forum allows threads of academic value (I hope it does). I am sure the masters will let us know if this thread is OK.

"...features such as polymorphism, inheritance, and encapsulation" - which of these are necessary and which of these are sufficient for a system to be 'fully' support OO. Are these the only three characteristics involved or are there any other?

I am certain this has beaten to death in, on college campuses and other forum. What issues matter when developing real-life applications?
