You might want to read the roadmap on the MS VFP web site. You will find that FoxPro has many years of life ahead.
>Back to 80's Clarion was a very good RAD software (I even have the first published original Clarion 5 1/4 diskettes) but I didn't know that it is still alive (hmm... I should check it too..)

>There are quite a many people who are afraid of VFP dead - is it going to happen or not. Should we change to .NET or not - especially when .NET is quite a new and there is some much older and still very talented RAD-tools like dBase, Clarion :), Delphi/Kylix (BTW you shoud go to
www.borland.com and compare the speed of the Borland site with the MS site - borland is a lightning fast. is it somethingt to with their products?), then there was a RAD called MATRIX by I think it is dead? So what we are missing - is there a valuable comparision or a test to tell if those other RADs are for nothing? I don't know for you others but somehow I would feel my self more secure to use a tool with has been here more than 20 years (Fox, Delphi) and there is no deadline waiting for us like Fox has (has Delphi?)

Yikes! What was that?
