We all know that the new MS offer just does not fit the needs of small/business market. That has been said thousands of times. MS just want us to learn their new incarnation of C. Come on. Is that's a joke? Explore the joy of a C-based syntax to develop business applications that will still heavily rely on a runtime and will be platform-dependant.

What do you get as a return for the cost of the extra incurred complexity?Let's just hope that an increased interest in "developping countries" at Redmond will change the perception of VFP or VFP look-alikes. And not too late.

From this forum, the UT I get the impression that a few distinctively techie and vocal users (MVP!) have moved to the new MS platform. Does that mean that the "rank and file" will move "en masse"? I doubt it and I can see no reason for doing so myselft. Not a single good one. Except the "me too" argument.

In the meantime everybody can pay a visit to the dabo project (for those who have not).
