>I would like to start developing in VB and I would like to know which labor saving programming tools are worth the money. Such as, I noticed in a lot of the programmer's catalogs that Sheridan software makes a lot of tools for VB are these worth the money ? I would really appreciate some guidance here.

You can start with a better grid. There's a lot to choose from. Sheridan and Apex make good ones.
Crescent makes good tools.
Check out VBxtras. It's a tools vendor.
www.vbxtras.comYou can check the adds in VB Programmer's Journal.
