>"A lie told often enough becomes the truth." (Vladimir Lenin) This seems to be the mantra of the left. I have no problem with opposition, dissenting viewpoints, disagreement over policy - its all a natural part of the democratic process. But this oppose-Bush-at-any-cost mentality is NOT helping solve anything.

Dan;

The climate that existed between Congress and the Senate towards Clinton when he was President was very negative. Clinton was opposed to the degree that little got done by our elected officials. It was a difficult 8 years for our nation.

We are in a similar position today with Bush as President. This relationship between our representatives in Washington D.C. and the president has been very negative for many reasons. The end result of the Clinton and Bush Administrations is that we as a nation are not working together. Something is seriously wrong and I have concerns for our nation.

Somehow I think that this negative relationship will continue for many years and perhaps decades. That thought is frightful.
