Economical. Fix some other stuff in grids, combos, odd behavior of some controls when in grids etc - look at Fabio's list.
If this was solved, we'd still have to do the same amount of code to use it (check for no record vs check for empty _cliptext). IOW, there'd be more important things to do.
Of course, if I was a PM in Redmond, I'd probably raise hell until I got Billy to publicly say what the hell does he want to do with Fox in the first place :).
