I'm developing in C# in .NET 2005. I'm using the new configuration settings namespace to store user default settings. This application is being deployed using ClickOnce.

The problem I am having is when I publish a new version of the appplicaiton, and users install it, their custom settings get overwritten or reset back to the default values (which are all blank).

How can I prevent this from happening and have the users keep their settings?
