>>>Hey, Dmitry. Your name wasn't exactly on the manifest of "The Mayflower", was it! There's many a name on this forum that would have been out of place with the "Founding Fathers"

>Here is a little historical tidbit. One of my work stints in England was at J. Sainsbury in London, and one of the client workers invited me to spend the weekend with his family in Gravesend, south of the city. On the Saturday we went on walkabout. We stopped in at his local, introductions all around, jokes at my expense as the token Yank, and then we found ourselves in a churchyard with a statue of Pocahontas. I asked why there was a statue of her there and Roger said, oh, she's here herself. I hadn't known John Smith took her back to England with him and she died there.

First, thank yor an interesting historical fact. But...

What he didn't tell (and obviously he could not know) is the before they left for England, Pocahontas had a baby who was left in America. This baby is my great-great-great-great (I am losing count here <g>) grandmother <bg>.
