>>My opinion of Fox News is about the same as John's opinion of NPR. I do think there is room for news organizations with points of view, as long as they have journalistic integrity. I do not credit Fox with that. They actively choose and shape their stories to support a conservative agenda. IMO they are tools of the White House and the far right.

>At least with Fox news, they present both sides of the argument in equal numbers. The liberal ones will have four liberals and one conservative, so the conservative gets shouted down. I've seen this on CNN's supposed debate programs, Bill Maher is one of the worst offenders, and several of the Sunday morning shows. Fox will have one liberal and one conservative, plus the moderator/s. That's a more "fair and balanced" way of presenting issues.
I can't believe you said that. Fair and balanced? Fox is anything but. They don't even deny it.
If you are unsure about how Fox News really operates, check out the documentary "Outfoxed". It consists mostly of aired footage. The filmmaker gave them enough rope to hang themselves with, and hang themselves they did. I defy you to watch this documentary and still consider Fox unbiased.
