We are using SQL Express 2005 and use Windows Authentication. Everything works fine when we are connected to the network. However, when I disconnect my laptop from the LAN and try to connect the SQL Express in the laptop using Windows Authentication, it fail! I thought the security context is cached when we disconnect and that's how I can login to my laptop using a domain account.

Any help on this subject is appreciated.
