Hi,

My standard reply to the "Bad Attitude" comment in this case is, any construct is only as good as the foundations it is built on, i.e. take a house that is built on bad foundations, you will always have problems with it until you fix the foundations.

This usually ends up with the problem being fixed, if not it is a good idea to find somewhere else to work, as you end up being blamed for the problems.

It also points out a fundamental flaw in managements thinking, it is they who have the problem.

I suggested that it seemed far more practical to just, perhaps, make the network a bit more stable, and I was branded as having a bad attitude.

If the connection were to be reestablished, then the handle might possibly be a different number.
