I don't know anymore about the corrupt table because I was sent a new one. Why is it that a table with DBF/FPT extensions cannot be sent as attachments to email and arrive with no corruption?

Some e-mail programs, or servers, might suspect a virus. The safest thing is often, to enclose the files within a ZIP or RAR archive.
