Hi Sergey,
I'm afraid that didn't work. The trouble is the text is mixed English & Greek, and the text stored in the file:
"Sandy grey brown soil with many fragments of glass and plastic. MADE GROUND - Αμμώδες γκριζοκάστανο έδαφος με πολλά θραύσματα γυαλιού και πλαστικού. ΑΝΘΡΩΠΟΓΕΝΕΙΣ ΑΠΟΘΕΣΕΙΣ."

gets imported into the table's memo field as:
"Sandy grey brown soil with many fragments of glass and plastic. MADE GROUND - I‘I¼I¼IŽI'IµI‚ I³IºII1I¶I¿IºI¬IƒI„I±I½I¿ II'I±I†I¿I‚ I¼Iµ I€I¿I»I»I¬ I,II±IIƒI¼I±I„I± I³I…I±I»I1I¿I IºI±I1 I€I»I±IƒI„I1IºI¿I. I‘II˜I'I©I IYI“I•I•I™I£ I‘I IYI˜I•I£I•I™I£."

Although I can cut and paste the data into my browser as I have here, if I cut and paste into VFP it is changed into gobbledigook. Any ideas?
