Interesting though

My database has 293,000 records with 54 indexes - original size of cdx file 176,084 kb following a pack and reindex

I ran a disp status to a text ile - imported the text file into a dbf - wrote a program to delete the index file and rebuild based on my database

Resultant size of cdx file exactly the same - but I ha to prove it to mysel!!

Is Sergey ever wrong?????
