Try using tablerevert() or rollback, then close all from that data session. the de can't close (and release the Datasession) since the SP failed and didn't complete a ROLLBACK or END TRANSACTION indeed completing or canceling the transaction clears the objref to the DE and allows it to close (with the datassesion) Arnon
