So making arguments back and forth would not be constructive. I don't know if you have kids or what you are telling your kids. Perhaps you are unaware of how jobs are being outsourced to other countries. People with many years of "loyalty" are laid off. Is it because the workers in those other countries are better than us? Do they work harder than us? Not in the least.

Perhaps companies should rely on themselves and their own labour force as you would have your kids do.
