Hello Peter,
I have always enjoyed reading some of your posts.
In my opinion, an opinion is like a class definition. A class is never expressed; it must be instantiated into an object before it can become active. And so it is with an opinion: the opinion comes from the inner dialogue and may or may not find expression in either a positive reinforcing manner, or a negative critisizng manner, depending on the polarization of the topic versus the attitude of the individual.
In the U.S., there is a saying, however, that someone "has an attitude." This is usually used in context when someone is trying to suppress arguements contrary to their own, and encounters someone who is not so easily convinced to concede.
HA!
I just had to offer my "two cents!"
