Thanks for the input. I am not in the market for a new car now, and probably won't be for a few years. I work at home so my car has only 22K miles on it after 2.5 years. (And a lot of that is because my daughters live in your state, not mine). But next time I will look at diesels, hybrids, etc. with fresh eyes.
