Did you try to configure the COMx port in Windows so you wouldn't need MODE command?

>I haven't try at customer site, but I had tried at our office and still doesn't work. I had compiled a dos executable and send output to a pole display. I had also created a batch file to invoke the mode command before executing the executable.
