>>A related story: two guys just happen upon an owner of a somewhat largish boat trying to push it off the shallows so he can sail. They help him push it, get thoroughly wet in the process, and in the end the guy says "Thanks a lot guys, here's something for you to drink" and shoves something into the palm of one of the guys.

>>Off he sails, and the other guy says "well, at least this guy is generous. What did he give you?"
>>"An aspirin."

Ah, I've hit a language barrier. What's the verb you use when you take your pill - do you take it, eat it, or drink it? In Serbian, you drink pilss (because pretty much anyone takes them with liquids, specially the hard-to-swallow pyramidons). Also, the "here's something for you to drink" was supposed to be a bit of cash for the guys to go and have a drink - that'd be normal.
Hey, but I'm actually doing great - haven't had a flop of this sort for a few years, and actually expected one in this case. Just to check my intuition. I usually know, by now, which joke will translate fine and which won't.
