I hadn't caught up to all its potential before the release of V5.0 and the same is going to be true for V6.0.

We are lucky here. I get to concentrate on VFP development. We have Web experts, NT admins, Oracle DBA. Personally, I think the best way is to have a diverse team of people with each member highly proficient in 1 skill but cognizant of other technology/development tools. We have also selected what I consider the best front end development tool (VFP), back ends (Oracle and VFP) and platforms (Unix but moving to NT for Oracle; Win95 [questionable to NT] workstations).

Disclaimer to prevent some mild flaming back at me: I know it is not always possible to have a good skill mix of people, and many have to learn and use multiple tools. I also have multiple duties that take awayt from VFP devel -- mainly computer support/hardware/software troubleshooting (ughh!).

Unfortunately, we have made our development lives difficult by deploying WordPerfect instead of Word, Lotus instead of Excel. As much as some may despise MS, at least it is a breeze to integrate the use of Excel and Word into VFP apps.
