i am converting my software from foxpro DOS to visual foxpro
should i create database first.

what is best database OR free tables.

i have a speed problem in vfp, if am runing my software more than two machine.

is this because of free tables.

i am direct appending records to table.

in add command button :

addbutton=.t.
editbutton=.t.
sele customer
appe blank

in edit command button :

addbutton=.f.
editbutton=.t.
sele customer
copy next 1 to xcust.ss

in save command button

sele customer
flush

in cancel command button :

sele customer
delete
if not addbutton
   appe from xcust.ss
endif

i am not using buffering.

please help me.
