I read through all your posts and I couldn't agree more. This is not a slam against MS, but I'm really puzzled when I see things that (more or less) promote distributed n-tier approaches (like application blocks), and then some of the new wizards/capabilities in VS2005 that seem, well, anything but consistent with the former.
