Keep in mind VFP 5 and up only work in 32bit environs (no more Win3.1, etc).
If you can, by all means do it. I am finding there are so many more *toys* available under 32bit than in 16. I also have the recent luxury of requiring Win95 because I have been instructed to develop in VFP5 only because of the tools I need to use.
