Did we see the same movie? I thought it was enjoyable enough, but "great movie"? "New paradigm"? There were plot holes you could, well, fly a plane through. As far as preconceptions, I assume you are talking about the Arabic passengers. But they were only a minor plot point.
I am not trying to be a naysayer; we all have our own taste in movies. Just wanted to add another data point for those who might have been tempted to run right out and rent it, expecting the next "Chinatown" or "The Third Man".
