Report to include Word docs and graphs

A client currently running VFP6 (thinking! about upgrading to VFP9) has asked me to create from his data a report to be produced in printed and PDF form. The report includes Word documents, data from their tables and graphs produced from some of this data. The report is highly formatted (background colours, font size and colour changes, headers and footers with graphics etc).
I would greatly appreciate any ideas on how to best create this report so that my client can push a button, select the output type and voila - the report is created.
I had originally thought of exporting to Excel but then I saw all the formatting and I'm not so sure.
Third party products are just fine if they will do the job.
