No I hadn't thought about it that way. I guess the default printer can have the page setup to Legal. Actually my HP6LGold driver does not seem to want to remember when it should *g*. I will try a second instance of it maybe get to set it to default Legal. I will have to do the same at the clients end hope his printer driver does remember then too there is no problem.

Not this HP6LGold nor I guess any of the newer USB / GDI printers. None of them will support ESC codes, only the DMPs are supporting them now.
