"Caught redhanded?" Doing what exactly... making mistakes?? Didn't matter who was in charge of this operation, mistakes would have been made. Different mistakes, undoubtedly... and I'm not going to waste time discussing whose mistakes would have had better outcomes in some alternate universe... but mistakes nonetheless. So when any administration is "caught redhanded" making mistakes, we *should* spend more time trying to fix the problem -- constructive solutions -- than placing blame... especially when the motive is transparently political (note the complete lack of any coherent, well thought out alternative policy). Like Jello, there will be plenty of room, in time, for blame placing. Personally, I don't see this as the time.

As for Rumsfeld, I have few facts on which to base an opinion of him. All I've heard are mostly screaming media heads crazily spinning daily events ("doing just fine, thank you" vs. "barely able to conceal his horns and pointed tail"). Since Bush is rabidly defending him, I don't see him leaving his post anytime soon. The dust will eventually settle and we'll see some toned down discourse, and it's at that point I'm sure we'll see what he is/was really made of.
