Just reading the news now... and can't guess how can Mala Amerika be flooded - it's not on the river anymore. Unless the lakes are still connected with the river underground. That strikes me as weird... or is the water really that high?
Still haven't got to
www.zrenjanin.org (where the webmaster is my ex-roommate and also an old Fox hand) to see the really fresh news. The dailies are having daily updates, but this is a weekly so they have updates every couple of hours. Go figure.
Update: the levees weren't breached. It's the water coming from sewers in some places - my daughter's school (Vuk) has some water in the basement, and it's probably coming up in few places on Mala Amerika and elsewhere. And they're pumping it out. Still nothing to use boats on, it seems boots are enough.
