I agree completely. We will continue to give the genuine threats a pass and remain bogged down with fake threats. For an alleged "sole remaining superpower" we sure are being run by idiots. This business with Rummy and the generals is just the latest example of the administration putting its own personal interests above the nation's interests.
>I think nothing will happen DIRECTLY between Iran and the U.S. for sometime unless Iran starts something. Bush cannot afford to instigate another war - our military force is stretched too thin already. I think Bush will pull a North Korea - refuse to deal with Iran outside of a multilateral talk and agreement.

>>>So you are saying Bush is pulling a Clinton. As in, everytime things got hot for Clinton, he bombed a milk factory! Well, it worked for slick willie, maybe it can work for W.
>>
>>Actually, we knew better. After he bombed the aspirin factory and whatever else, someone back home said "if they catch him with his fly open once more, we're next". And we were.
>>
>>Bush is pulling a Sloba. Sloba screwed it up with war in Croatia, never mind, fire up Bosnia. Screwed up in Bosnia, never mind, we'll have a police operation in Kosovo and Metohia. Screwed up that, never mind, we'll dare NATO to bomb us.
