He said that he didn't see a lot of the things depicted in the movies. Most prisoners did their time peacefully. They had a gym, a library, access to education, etc. There was occasional trouble but it was mostly between rival gang members.
He did his time, got a couple interesting tattoos, and is a much-changed person. He has a wife, a beautiful daughter, and a great job.
