As far as I understand, there is a printer that is shared between different Windows applications, but they require different printer settings ("printing preferences"). If so, then one of the solutions is to add the very same printer in Windows Settings --> Printers, but to set its preferences differently.


>hi. thanks for reply. what i meant by 'global print setup for application' was to set one default printer as well other print specific settings i.e. which printer tray to use, which paper size to use etc.
