I don't think what you posted here wld do the trick. Maybe you got somewhat
simillar results, but this wld not cut with variable detail band lenghts
and full functionality he mentioned. (keeping content together etc)

Cathy pointed to one dificult workarround/framework which can be in fact implemented. Only problem (in my opinion) is speed with bigger number of records, especially if it comes to 3rd pass scenario.

With xff scripts (he is XFRX user) he can build it in code, since you have actual page coordinates at your hand to compare against as you go along.
With little bit of smart wrapping of those xff scripts you can turn it into
powerfull reporting beast :)

I did already some xff script wrapping but only with xfrx demo version since we purchased only PDF library, not whole xfrx.

Malcolm,
See also CodeRep here in downloads. There you will find almost all PDFL
wrapper calls I am using myself. You can use source code there to make your own wrappers for XFF scripts. Logic is very simillar.

>No, I tried it and it works for each page of the report. It gives last deail line for each page.

>>Your example explains how to know the last line of the entire report. I understood the original question as how to know the last line on EACH page ... not just the last record of the ENTIRE report.
