Actually it should not cause any problems. I just remembered that the computer I am using right now came with the CD/DVD as drive D. Then I changed the partition on this notebook, created partition D and E. The CD/DVD became F:. And I have not really had major problem with the CD. I had to have Dell replace it once but it was hardware problem. I think <g>.
