If your bosses suddenly offered to treble your salary I'll bet you wouldn't turn up your nose at it.
What you say sounds like a lot of "sour grapes" (Aesops' fable). If your country should keep its nose clean, and be admitted to the EU, and your standard of living grows (like in Ireland) then you won't have a leg to stand on.
