If the command button's .ColorSource equals 4, it uses the settings in the control panel to determine the background color. However, since a command button doesn't have a .Background color property, setting the .ColorSource to some other value may be pointless. You might try setting the .ColorSource to 2 (ColorScheme property scheme), and setting a custom scheme up for it.
