Excuse me? Metin this is the umpteenth time I tell you to read your history before you make an uninformed opinion. You should know better. After the Turks were forced out of Palestine after losing WWI the British started a mandate from the League of Nations to administer Palestine. By 1947 they were being forced out, tired politically and financially. In November 1947 the U.N. voted for the partition of Palestine into a jewish land and a palestinian land. The vote passed and the date was set for April 14 1948 for the British to leave.

The moment they left, *all arab countries* disregarded the U.N. Partition Resolution and attacked the newly created nation of Israel. They lost and got less land than what the partition called for. They did not help or absorbe the Palestinian population into Egypt (Gaza) and Jordan (Trans-Jordan as it was then called) (West-Bank) as they were expected but left them there as pariahs and political pawns for 60 years.

The way they decided to "defend their land" as you call it is by doing acts of terrorism against Israel's civilian population. If you honestly think the way to defend your land is by blowing up city buses full of women and children then there is no hope for you.
