When the user activates a Class, I need to set focus to a default button on the Form. I have tried

thisform.pageframe1.page1.command1.setfocus()

When the class is activated through regular code, it works fine. But if I try the same through < when & valid >, I get error.

a. Is there anyway I can overcome the situation.

b. How can I identify if the class is called through < when & valid >. If this is possible I can put an condition.
