Becky, Dave has offered one approach. However, IF you have the Clipper source code, you can recompile the program so it uses CDX indexes and FPT memo file structure as if the Clipper program were written in Fox2.x. Then you treat the Clipper tables as Fox free tables and VFP works beautifully.
Clipper 5.2 and 5.3 have the drivers built in - you just set a switch. Older versions of Clipper use add-on drivers. I used the Six-Driver pack and it worked like a charm. It came with a program to convert your existing data to the new format.
