I am converting a DOS app to Windows and I am trying to preserve as many of the key stroke combinations as possible. A main form has several pages on a pageframe. The page up and page down key move between the pages. However, if the user press page down while a dropdown is open the page number changes and refreshes but the drop down carries over to the new page which is somewhat disconcerting to say the least. I have solved the problem by setting a property in the form class and trapping the page up/down keys when the drop down is open. Alt+dnarrow opens a drop down and curiously enough Alt+uparrow closes it. Thanks for the reply.
