Database is actually MSSQL 2005 SP1 Express...

I'm using the Native client to connect. This is basically a bulk insert operation of 207000 +/- records.
The CursorAdapter uses a lot of the defaults for most properties:

Uses transactions.
Has a key, but the key field here isn't being updated (UniqueIDentifier to be the default of NewID()) and therefore not included in the select list
Refreshes all fields after the insert

I'm still learning VFP 9 so there's probably something I'm missing that's new.

On the contrary, the Remote view I built after the Adapter didn't work did the trick. So what has caused the adapter to fail?
