I'm also, hopefully correctly, assuming that this is all building to something. I've read several interviews with Chase and he talked about making sure all the characters get their comeupence, so he doesn't end up glamorizing their livestyle too much.
I was hoping when things started to fall apart when Tony was in the hospital was going to lead to something. But that tract wrapped up quickly, although it did set up Vito.
And it also seems things got good between NY and NJ too easy.

I'm trying to look on the bright side, that they are leading up to something. I was reading some sopranos stuff last week. Someone said they heard from a friend who works on the set that there's an extremely intense scene next week.

>If true, and from the characters I heard were involved, the intensity will ratchet up 100 times. >
>Well, I sure hope so. I'm wondering if the stuff that Chris lifted and gave to Tony will come back on them, but who knows.

>This season has been so horrible, that even Season 4 looks good by comparison. I remember Tony telling Melfi years ago that his life was like an episode of "Provoloni-Something". Well, the whining and stupidity of this season reminds me of 30-something!
