>>I'm getting ready to go make a press conference with my friend who actually won the election. Our local county commission is about to appoint someone to fill the unexpired term of Senate district 29 and Terry has the votes if he wants it. He will refuse the appointment because of the questions involved in the process. The democrat we just unseated, took the seat at the first opportunity and the Democratically controlled election commission certified the election at the first opportunity. Then the democratic governor swore her in.

>After all the electoral theft we had during Miloshevich, there's no way there'd be any single-party electoral commision anywhere, even in the remotest of villages in Serbia. And one more thing: they're counting the ballots together, and publish their results immediately to the next level, plus each member reports to his party, and all the parties publish them on their websites as they come. With this system of everybody controlling everybody else, it's very hard to smuggle any significant number of ballots. Serbia paid a heavy tuition to get this lesson driven home.

State law says the "majority" party in the house gets 3 members in every one of the 95 counties in TN and the "other" party gets 2. Kinda like the proverbial "stacked deck", ain't it! I'm working on getting that changed too, but I don't know if I can pull that one off.
