>>Well, it's a little confusing, even to me. She got seated "provisionally" but we were able to prove there were enough problems with the votes (dead people), felons, people registered at vacant lots, etc. Our senate voted to remove her last Thursday. My guy had the votes to be seated, but he was magnanimus, and turned it down. They will face each other again in November.

>Ok, I think I've got it now. Do you know any numbers? I assume with a secret ballot, there is really no way to know who the dead people voted for? How can you actually tell that she was elected based on 'unsavoury' voting practices? Or are you just saying that the entire election should be thrown out and redone?

Both. We concentrated on polls where my guy didn't get any votes or very few and lo and behold - that's where the cheating was going on. One precinct was so bad, they banned all the people who worked there from ever working another election and they closed that precinct and put all the voters in a new one! How's that for being crooked!
