Sounds like I have a plan. I'm adding a procedure to do this as we speak.
I was also hoping to better understand how the triggers are best used as well. It seems to me that I should be able to use the Insert & Update triggers to do similar processes for the current table, but I can only get them to work for tables other than the current one. Are they just designed for other tables? Or, am I missing something?
