Ah. I was trying ACTIVATE WINDOW ("report controls") without luck. But, I've actually settled on the approach of showing _screen for the preview and the hiding it after. Getting around the 5.0 bug seemed much too cludgy w/o any additional benefit (IMO). When I upgrade to 6.0, it'll be easy enough to do it properly then.
